Privacy Policy

Summary
Dispatch has no servers. We never see your recordings. No analytics, no tracking, no ads, no accounts with us.
1. Recordings & Transcription
Voice recordings are saved locally on your device. Dispatch does not access files outside its own folder.
Transcription options:
- On-device — Android uses a locally downloaded model (Sherpa-ONNX). iOS uses Apple's on-device speech recognition. Audio never leaves your phone.
- Apple Cloud (iOS) — Audio is processed by Apple's Speech Recognition servers.
- Gemini (both platforms) — Audio is sent to Google Gemini via OpenRouter for transcription. OpenRouter has zero data retention and your recordings are never trained on. Requires an API key you provide. No audio leaves your device unless you select this option. Subject to OpenRouter's privacy policy.
2. Google Drive (Optional)
You can connect your Google account to upload recordings to your own Drive. Dispatch uses the drive.file scope, so it can only access files it created. You can disconnect at any time in settings.
3. Data Retention
Dispatch has no servers, no accounts, and no cloud storage of its own. We retain none of your data because we never have it. Your recordings and transcripts live on your device (and optionally your Google Drive). Delete them at any time. Uninstalling the app removes all local data.
